PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE OF ARC-GUIDING CLAMP-SHAPED ELEMENT OF IMMOBILE CONTACT UNIT OF ELECTROMAGNETIC SWITCHING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering, low-voltage equipment. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacture of arc-guiding clamp-shaped element of certain structural implementation includes cutting of sheets transverse to direction of rolling into strips having width exceeding length of manufactured element in development by value determined by given dependence with subsequent punching of billet of clamp-shaped element from strip beveled on two sides from front end in three stages with simultaneous movement of strip by step corresponding to stage of punching. Length L of step is found by given dependence. Certain sequence of operations is conducted at each stage and then billet is bent transverse to direction of rolling in three stages. At each stage certain operations are carried out in certain sequence after which final calibration of manufactured clamp-shaped element is conducted on mandrel of specified form and dimensions and galvanization. Technical result provided by invention consists in precision and adaptability to manufacture of clamp-shaped element of configuration required for immobile contact unit of electromagnetic switching device ensuring fast drift of arc from contact straps and raising by this switching and mechanical wear resistance of device. EFFECT: high quality of manufactured element and prolonged duration of its operation with simultaneous reduction of labor input and usage of metal due to decreased amount of wasted metal. 5 cl, 12 dwg
