Abstract RU 2171379 C1

FIELD: environmental control, methods of underground storage of liquid wastes of potassium production and improvement of ecological conditions in regions of production of potassium fertilizers due to exclusion of sources of pollution of natural environment. SUBSTANCE: method includes withdrawn and classification of liquid wastes, their pumping to underground space up to beginning of their filtration to water-bearing horizons. Liquid saturated and unsaturated wastes are stored into mine working of accidentally flooded potassium or slat mines through vertical mine workings which are located mainly in points most distant from point of inrush of underground waters into mine and having lowest coefficient of filtration. Volume of storage of unsaturated salt liquid wastes is determined by permissible settling of ground surface resulted from dissolving of salts in mine in region of each vertical working, and if they reach the permissible values, saturated liquid wastes are further injected or unsaturated liquid wastes are injected which are preliminarily saturated with solid salt wastes.
