FIELD: mining industry; applicable in abandonment of mine shafts at producing enterprises. SUBSTANCE: method includes filling-up of shafts with inert materials. First, full filling-up of shafts is effected with said ore or salts contained in ore, and filling-up is maintained during entire period of protection, and at end of protection period, filling is coercively dissolved, and shafts are filled-up with inert material. In other version of method realization, shafts are fillet-up with inert materials to zone of underground waters saturated with salts; and above said zone, shaft remaining part is filled up with ore or salts contained in ore, and maintained during entire period of protection. At the end of protection period, filling is coercively dissolved, and shafts are fully filled-up with inert materials.
