FIELD: heat engineering, applicable at thermal power stations, boiler houses. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the use of synthesis gas at a temperature of 1500 K obtained in the first stage-plasma reactor a source of production of heat required for gasification of the main flow of coal dust. Mixing of coal-pulverized mix with synthesis gas and subsequent burning of the latter in the second stage-muffle makes it possible to enhance the rate of reactions and, consequently, the completeness of gasification as compared with the existing methods for autothermal gasification.
