FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises causing the pulverized coal to pass through the flow of low-temperature plasma and mixing it with the main flow pulverized fuel and air as an oxidizing agent. In the first stage, only the pulverized coal is supplied into the chamber. The pulverized coal is heated, emits the volatile materials, and enters the reaction chamber. The main flow of pulverized fuel and gasifying agent are tangentially supplied to the reaction chamber. A synthesis-gas produced by the reaction is used in the second stage for gasification of the main fuel flow by its burning out.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
