FIELD: production of sugar.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes boiling-down the fill mass (massecuite) of first crystallization in first vacuum apparatus, selection of part of this fill mass (massecuite) and delivery of it to second vacuum apparatus, discharge of finished fill masses (massecuite) to intake mixer and centrifuging in filtering centrifuge at separation of first runoff syrup followed by washing the sugar crystals at separation of second runoff syrup and discharge of granulated sugar. Used as centers of crystallization are sugar crystals, 0.160-0.220 mm in size which are grown up at content of dry substances in fill mass (massecuite) from 88.0 to 89.0%. First vacuum apparatus is used for boiling-down the fill mass (massecuite) to content of dry substances from 92.0 to 92.5% and second vacuum apparatus is used for boiling-down the fill mass (massecuite) to content of dry substances of 93.0-94.0%. This fill mass (massecuite) is drenched before discharge with first runoff syrup from first vacuum apparatus to content of dry substances from 92.0 to 92.5%. Fill mass (massecuite) from first vacuum apparatus is directed for centrifuging before fill mass (massecuite) from second vacuum apparatus. Process of washing the sugar crystals is continued during period of time corresponding to time of separation of first runoff syrup at flow rate of water of 0.15-0.22% to mass of massecuite per second.

EFFECT: increased productivity; improved quality of granulated sugar.
