WIND-DRIVEN ELECTRIC PLANT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2171913 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed wind-driven electric plants are designed for self-contained power or heat supply of objects which cannot be supplied from external power system. Wind-driven electric plant has inverter, rectifier, storage battery and synchronous electric machine driven by windmill and synchronous electric machine driven by internal combustion engine both being connected through automatic circuit breakers to buses of power consumers. First synchronous electric machine is connected also through automatic circuit breaker and rectifier to storage battery which is connected through automatic circuit breaker and inverter in parallel with buses of power consumers. According to invention, electric boiler is connected additionally to buses through automatic circuit breaker. Water circuit of boiler is connected with external heating system of heat power consumers which is connected also through shutoff and control valves with heat accumulator and water circuits of heat exchangers-recovery units of waste heat of supercharging air, lubricating oil, cooling liquid and exhaust gases of internal combustion engine. Plant is furnished additionally with electric and heat load transmitters installed, respectively, on buses of electric power consumers and in heating system of heat power consumers which are connected, through actuating mechanisms, with automatic control system of wind-driven electric plant. EFFECT: improved efficiency of wind-driven plant used for combined generation of electric and heat power, improved performance characteristics at steady-state and transient conditions. 1 dwg
