FIELD: oil production, petroleum refining industry, electrical power engineering. SUBSTANCE: process is intended for thermal action of oil and oil products when discharged from storages. It is proposed to direct heating capacity of SHF radiation source to heating of part of oil volume limited by surface area. In this case part of oil volume is limited by radiation absorbing material with formation of passages between plates of same material and is located in zone of discharge gear. It is necessary to comply with conditions: all power emitted by SHF radiation source is absorbed in this volume and value of power is sufficient to keep temperature in zone of discharge gear corresponding to rated mode of discharge.
