FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves separating conjunctiva and Tenon capsule, making sclera incision, removing contents of scleral capsule and then, treating the capsule and introducing implant. Incisions in sclera are made after separating conjunctiva all over the limb circle in inferoexterior quadrant 8-10 mm apart from the limb, incision length being equal to 4 to 7 mm. Ball-shaped inlay produced from lyophilized hydrogel is introduced. The inlay is has the property of increasing its volume 3-5 times as large with its initial shape retained. EFFECT: equal mobility degree of the stump and matched eye.
