FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves separating conjunctiva and Tenon's sheath, piercing eyeball, removing scleral capsule contents and introducing implant. Sclera is pierced in the inferoexterior quadrant. The sclera content is sucked out. Gelatin-like hydrogel substance is introduced into scleral capsule until full restoration of the initial volume is achieved. EFFECT: reduced risk of postoperative complications.
