FIELD: manufacture of gas- and pneumatic fittings. SUBSTANCE: method for making castings of parts of gas- and pneumatic fitting operating at pressure up to 100 MPa comprises steps of pouring to pressing chamber doze of metal superheated by 50-100 C and pressing it in mold; preliminarily compressing metal in press mold under pressure (100-200)MPa at fixed injection plunger; after formation of skin of solidified metal embedding injection plunger to reserved metal volume inside or outside casting at rate equal or slightly exceeding metal crystallization rate; subjecting crystallized castings to annealing, quenching and ageing. Metal strength of casting after such heat treatment increases by 1.5-2 times. At making body parts for pneumatic and hydraulic systems from cast or deformed alloys, metal using factor is increased up to 0.83-0.9. Castings have no defects caused by shrinkage, keep fluid-tightness under pneumatic and hydraulic pressure up to 100 MPa.
