FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: method of controlling the process of forming mechanical and structural properties of high-strength aluminium alloys in conditions of casting with crystallisation under pressure includes an alloy overheated by 150 °C above melting point, into evacuated mould heated to 200 °C, and applying pressure to crystallizing alloy with increasing pressure value to 500 MPa, holding the alloy under pressure until complete crystallisation and extracting the casting from the mould. Controlling the crystallization process is carried out by maintaining the temperature of the alloy in the mould at a predetermined level using an electromagnetic controller built into the vacuum channel of the mould, which control flap turn mode depends on readings of temperature sensors installed in the mould cavity.
EFFECT: formation of specified structural and mechanical properties of parts due to maintenance of alloy temperature in mould at specified level during casting.
