WOOD PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURE OF WOOD TILES Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: wood- working industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding particles of basic wood material into working chamber; grinding basic material and discharging ground wood particles from working chamber; creating fluidized bed of wood material particles and supplying ozone into fluidized bed mass; generating permanent electric field between particle discharge zone and lower surface of fluidized bed. Apparatus has metal working chamber with charging throat, rippers positioned in lower part of working chamber and wood particles removal device positioned in upper part of working chamber. Apparatus is further equipped with ozone generator communicated with toroidal bubbler. Wood particle removal device has belt conveyor and flat high-voltage electrode arranged so as to come into contact with conveyor belt. Toroidal bubbler is positioned between rippers and conveyor whose belt has permittivity value exceeding corresponding parameter of basic wood material. Method and apparatus allow end product to be obtained in single stage and further processed for producing wood tiles of any kind. EFFECT: increased efficiency in processing basic wood material and provision for manufacture of wood tiles with improved ecological characteristics. 10 cl, 2 dwg
