FIELD: equipment for molding of man-made materials. SUBSTANCE: mold-locking device of molding machine for die casting has four members working in tension which rigidly connect fixed mold-clamping plate to supporting plate of closing drive and made in the form of L-shaped connector. Each member working in tension is connected in upper point with one of said plates, and in lower points, with other plate. Upper edge of members working in tension at least in zone of between plates lies deeper than axis of locking force. It provides for access to space between fixed mold-damping and supporting plates. Members working in tension are of absolutely the same shape and sizes, due to which they lengthen under effect of closing force through the same value and preserve parallelism of fixed clamping and supporting plates. Mold-locking device provides for free access to space between plates without hindrance of rectilinear guide columns and reliable holding of plates parallel to each other with the help of members working in tension.
