FIELD: medicine, medicinal biotechnology, virology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing the strain used for production of vaccine against measles adapted to diploid cellular culture M-22 and to development of method of preparing antimeasles vaccine. Method involves the use of the strain measles virus "Orlov-D" (GKV N 2347 from 29. 12. 1998 year) as a producer of antimeasles vaccine obtained by adaptation of the strain "Orlov-B" (GKV N 2326 from 04. 04. 1995 year) to diploid cellular culture by passage in cells M-22 of human embryo skin-muscle fragments (RKK N 2-3-2 from 16. 12. 1984 year). By means of use of system "diploid cells M-22/strain "Orlov-D" and selectively determined in definite range of infecting dose the yield and purity degree of the end product are increased.
