FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assembling of interference joints and fasteners to be turned into smooth holes without preliminary thread cutting. Joint is made by heating initial zone with current of density sufficient for beginning of metal melting. Fastener is preliminarily pressed to face hole at counter-clockwise rotation of fastener. Driving in is provided at clockwise rotation of fastener and heating with current of density sufficient for plastification of metal. Fastener is provided with seat end with triangular thread containing deforming and guiding sections and phosphate insulating coating to reduce coefficient of friction along deforming section and torques. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, improved reliability of assembling. 3 cl, 4 dwg
