FIELD: mining of sludge and slime bottom deposits of flow and viscous-flow consistency; applicable, preferably, on deposits of lake sapropels and therapeutic muds and sludge deposits of water reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: immersible sludge-intake unit includes pump with sludge-intake pipe. Pump is mounted on frame and sludge-intake pipe located on shaft with drive. Unit is provided with ripper installed on shaft between sludge-intake pipe and drive and made in the form of flat spiral stretched in vertical line. Sludge-intake pipes has cut directed upright. Mining of sapropel of flow and viscous-flow consistency is carried out from one station without disturbance of upper vital part of deposit and without formation of suspension clouds. EFFECT: higher efficiency of device use due to minimum disturbance of ecological system of lake and considerable reduction of power consumption by main cycle components of sapropel intake from deposits. 1 dwg
