FIELD: railway transport; thickened products warming up devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed tank car for carrying thickening and solidifying oil products has lower drain arrangement including handwheel 1 installed in upper charging hatch cover, valve seat 3 installed over lower discharge branch pipe furnished with heating housing 5 and rod connecting valve seat and handwheel. Additional heating system is made in form of cup consisting of two coaxial shells rigidly connected by end faces to upper and lower inner surfaces of tank car so that valve seat and rod connecting valve with handwheel are in inner shell. Both shells are provided with vertical ports in which walls 11 are fitted. The latter form channels connecting tank car space and inner shell space. Space between shells is installed from tank car volume. Branch pipes 13 and 14 to let heating medium in and out of intrashell volume are installed on shell walls. Plug is installed on rod to form nonfillable volume over ports in inner shell when tank car is being filled up. EFFECT: improved efficiency.
