FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: starting and controlling apparatus to supply power to gaseous-discharge lamps has power supply unit with D C source, inverter, starting current generator, inductive-capacitive ballast circuit and ignition unit of gaseous-discharge lamps. Inverter incorporates adder, two control keys and timer, control unit and generator connected in series. Apparatus is fitted with transmitter of rise of voltage across lamps, transmitter of fall of voltage across lamps, transmitter of voltage across inner filaments of lamps and transmitter of open-circuit of lower filament of lamps. Above-mentioned transmitters are connected to hysteresis adder, starting current generator is connected to D C source and incorporates limiting resistors, field-effect transistor, reference voltage elements. filtering capacitor and current resistor. With start of apparatus starting generator energizes controlling circuits of inverter and secures operation of its keys, power supply to high-frequency rectifier that feeds constant voltage supply source and disconnects starting current generator. EFFECT: raised operational reliability of starting and controlling apparatus, reduced consumption of electric energy by apparatus. 1 dwg
