FIELD: strength testing of parts of machines, study of impact action on puncture-proofness of bodies. SUBSTANCE: proposed method can be employed to conduct strength and certificate tests of bodies of fans, compressors, turbines of gas-turbine engines and other turbine engines in mechanical engineering. According to method rotor is placed inside body and is accelerated to preset rotational speed at which one of blades breaks away. Puncture-proofness of body is evaluated by traces of impact of blade against body. Prior to test specified section of blade is eased off, is reinforced by structural members made of temperature-sensitive materials and blades are heated in addition during test. Testing gear includes rotor with blades, drive, system controlling rotational speed, transmitter of rotational speed connected in series. Section of one of blades is eased off and is fitted with fastening members produced from temperature-sensitive materials mated with surface of blade and placed at point of eased off section. Gear is also fitted with heater, heat controlling unit, information input unit, temperature-sensitive elements, blade break-away warning unit, system controlling rotational speed. EFFECT: assured break-away of one blade across specified section from rotating rotor at specified rotational speed. 4 cl, 2 dwg
