FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: cross-section of one of blades, mounted onto rotor disposed inside motionless case, is attenuated by facing. Windows are made in the blade and thermo-sensitive loading members are installed inside the windows which members provide additional loading of attenuated cross-section of blade after the blade is heated till preset temperature after rotor is driven to preset speed. After subsequent break occurs and torn part hits the case, the punching of case is judged from traces of hit. Device has rotor with blades and feather. There is facing in the blade and windows inside which the loading thermo-sensitive members, lock, drive, system for controlling rotation frequency and unit for heating feather of blade are installed. Lower edge of thermo-sensitive loading member rests against surface of facing. Windows with loading thermo-sensitive members and facing of blade's feather are made directly above shelf of lock. Thermo-sensitive loading members are installed in windows to provide tension at the edges. The blade can be punched at preset root cross-section directly above lock. Breakage of blade occurs immediately without elongation at preset rotational frequency. Torn part of blade after break has the trajectory being similar to trajectory of blade torn during operation at minimal field changes of rotor.
