FIELD: nuclear engineering; accumulation and conversion of chemical elements as result of chemical reactions. SUBSTANCE: metal aluminum powder is mixed up with solution containing element being irradiated, mixture is calcined to obtain oxide coatings of element being irradiated on matrix powder surface, loosening component is added to calcined and cooled mixture, and calcination is repeated. Proposed method is characterized in that element being irradiated can be delivered to target in precisely metered portions, uniformly distributed within matrix space, and loose powder mixture can be prepared for matrix and element being irradiated under conditions of radiation safety chamber. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 2 cl, 1 ex
