FIELD: agriculture and forestry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has main frame, driven wheel and toxic chemical storage reservoir. Vessel and working tool are fixed on additional frame pivotally attached to main frame. Working tool is made in the form of endless fabric running about rolls and passing through vessel. Drive roll is connected through step-up chain transmission to wheel. During operation of apparatus, rotating wheel drives working tool, which is moistened in vessel to apply moisture to weed plants with its open part disposed in the vicinity of roll. Such construction allows weed plants to be effectively covered with toxic chemical by providing direct contact of moistened fabric with weed plants.
