FIELD: heat treatment of parts in various gaseous atmospheres, both in shielding and saturating ones, applicable in mechanical engineering aircraft and motor industries and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: the gate of furnace for heat treatment has a chute filled with a backfill of disperse material. The backfill of disperse material includes activators. The chute accommodates hinge-joined flaps. Attached to the gate cover is a separating blade made for engagement with the hinge-joined flaps in the chute. The separating blade is provided with a rhomboid tip positioned along its cutting edge. The vertical planes of the blade and rhomb are mutually perpendicular. EFFECT: reduced consumption of active disperse additives in the gate backfill, prevented ingress of harmful air gaseous components, favoring the gas saturation and oxidizing of the surface of treated parts, in the working space of the furnace. 3 dwg
