FIELD: wear-resistant parts of equipment for grinding, crushing and transportation of various abrasive materials; applicable in metallurgical, cement and ore mining industries. SUBSTANCE: wear-resistance part from composite material is made by casting and presents metal matrix whose working surface has inserts with high resistance to wear. Said part is characterized by the fact that inserts are formed with ceramic press cake impregnated in the course of coating with liquid metal in the form of homogeneous solid solution containing 20-80 wt. % of Al2O3 and 80-20 wt.% of ZrO2. EFFECT: increased resistance of parts to mechanical loads, higher resistance to abrasion, reduced hazard of crack formation in parts. 13 cl, 3 dwg
