FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to timber rafting and may be used in shallow rivers. Raft section strapping is made by flexible thread with cargo bights arranged at its ends. Vertical braces and retainers are arranged at upper side of said thread. Every vertical strand is made of steel bar shaped to clevis wit length making 0.75 of log mean diameter workstation. Pocket with width equal to flexible thread diameter is formed at thread central section for strapping thread lower side to be fitted therein. Both sides of the thread embrace every two round logs and are locked at thread ends by retainers.
EFFECT: simplified raft-making, better rafting in shallow rivers.
