SUBSTANCE: magnetic field transducer has light source, unit injecting radiation into optical fiber, optical fiber which intermediate part carries magnetic film, photodetector across fiber output. Light beam expander is positioned between input optical fiber and magnetooptical material. Input optical fiber is single-mode and output multimode optical fiber includes branching. Photodetector is placed opposite to branched part of optical fiber. EFFECT: enlarged dynamic range and increased accuracy of measurement of intensity of magnetic field. 1 dwg
