FIELD: reactors and devices for controllable heating of reagents, for example, reagents used in biochemical reactions. SUBSTANCE: device for conducting reactions has reactor, current- conducting polymer and unit for control of current supply to polymer. Current-conducting polymer radiating heat when electric current is passed through it may be connected to current source through control unit. Reactor has container for reagents made in form of capillary tube, slide or chip brought in close contact with current-conducting polymer. Polymer may by made in form of film wrapped around tube for forming envelope, thus making easily adjustable heat source which may be quickly heated and cooled to required temperature.
