FIELD: preservation of biological objects. SUBSTANCE: invention discloses multicomponent composition of a natural antifreeze produced by Aporia crataegi L. during winter diapause. Cryoprotector substance consists of 3 chief constituents: glycerol, alpha-carotene, and peptide-nature compound at ratio 19: 1: 16.5, respectively. Cryoprotector has a good cryoprotector potential in the course cryopreservation of various biological objects at temperature within minus 15-20 C in absence of liquid nitrogen and shows higher efficiency when compared to pure glycerol in the case of multiple unfreezing. EFFECT: improved preservation efficiency. 2 tbl
