FIELD: transport and power engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine is designed for use as multicylinder power plant. Mechanism converting reciprocating movement of piston into rotation of shaft is made in form of gear train with alternate internal meshing consisting of gear and wheel in form of oval whose surfaces corresponding to big axis are provided with teeth of smaller curvature alternately engaging with gear, and surfaces corresponding to small axes are made smooth and with larger curvature but not larger than curvature of gear teeth and correspond to phase of change of piston movement direction at working cycle. Cam installed in parallel with gear engages in turn with stops. Pistons of paired opposite cylinders are rigidly connected by braces. Connection of piston with wheel of gear train is brought out of working zone to bracket of rod with flange for fastening of braces and guide frame of flexibly movable slider.
