SUBSTANCE: proposed water flowrate control valve has body mounting external bushing with rectangular ports that accommodates internal bushing coupled with drive shaft and provided with shaped ports communicating with inlet and outlet pipe connections of body, respectively. Outlet pipe connection accommodates stiffness ring; ratio of valve-to-ring flow sectional areas Fv-to-Fr is between 1.2 and 1.6. Stiffness ring is used to enhance rigidity of valve outlet and also to reduce erosion wear of valve when handling water heated to saturation temperature. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of valve. 3 dwg
