FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves accessing posterior mediastinum in frontal supradiaphragmic extrapleural way. Hernial sack is cut. The anterior and lateral walls of the pectoral portion of the stomach. The anterior wall of gastric waist is deflected towards the posterior one. Stomach walls are fixed to esophageal orifice ring of the diaphragm with moderate tension. Transverse invaginated fold is built above the superior line or under inferior line of the gastric waist. The frontal wall of the abdominal stomach portion is sutured to edges of esophageal orifice ring of the diaphragm. EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications. 7 dwg
