FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing gasket for sealing of detachable joints, in wide range of temperatures and pressures at multiple loads and long service life, as well as for sealing of round holes of flat flange connections, pipelines, vessels, apparatus, pumps, etc. Seal gasket comprises inner and outer limiting rings. Between the rings there is a steel tape of V-shaped profile with centering elements in the central part, which is wound in the form of a spiral with a band seal between coils of steel tape. Edges of tape forming V-shaped profile are made at an angle to vertical equal to 1.0-5.0°. Centering elements of the belt are made in the form of an arc in the central part with side V-shaped branches, which are conjugated with the edges of the tape of the V-shaped profile.

EFFECT: higher reliability of sealing gasket, expansion and improvement of its technical characteristics due to creation of sealing gasket with possibility of damping at impact of load on it, with improved elastic and sealing properties.
