DEVICE FOR COMPRESSION-DECOMPRESSION RESUSCITATION Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, in particular, devices for closed chest massage, may be applicable in case of stopping of cardiac activity of a human in different conditions (at home, at work, in ambulance, in hospital, etc.). SUBSTANCE: the device has a supporting platform bearing a vertical rod rigidly secured in the working state, having a scale in the units of length, fixed on the rod is a movable unit for adjustment of the compression and decompression parameters with limiters of excessive excursion, and a movable lever with a sucker positioned on it, and provision is made for an alignment chart for determination of the optimal parameters of compression and decompression in the units of length. The device provides for adjustment of the compression-decompression parameters, i.e. for selection of optimal conditions of action on the thorax that are individual for each patient. The use of the lever makes easier the work of the resuscitator. The device has special units and detachable components, which makes it portable. EFFECT: enhanced convenience in use. 1 dwg
