FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is composed of trays having U-shaped section and connected one with another through couplings having U-shaped section, each being put on lower surfaces of ends of trays to be connected one with another. Trays and couplings are manufactured from electrical arc-resistant asbestos cement possessing improved fire- resistance. Depth of tray must be at least equal to diameter of cable laid therein and width of tray is selected on condition that gap be formed between tray walls and cable. Apparatus is used for protecting individual power cable from fire hazards such as flame of ignition source or electric arc of adjacent cables, as well as for retarding burning process. EFFECT: simplified construction, convenient mounting and maintenance and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 cl, 2 dwg
