FIELD: thermal engineering; thermal power stations. SUBSTANCE: dust-system has fuel heat treatment unit made in the form of dust-concentrator with hollow insert 8 preheated by means of oil injector 11 which is then disconnected. Dust is set in rotary motion within dust-concentrator case until it is pulverized and coked. Vane-type reversing swirl generators 6 and 7 and flat plates 13 constituting hollow insert 8 prevent dust outlet. Plates are installed cocurrently to flow and have longitudinal splits between them through which fuel gases coming from carbon dust are supplied to burning zone. Plates 13 incorporating provision for thermal lag ensure ignition of newly delivered dust and its thermal treatment by means of radiant component through slits. EFFECT: minimized amount of additional fuel; improved stability of ignition at load drop. 2 dwg
