FIELD: thermomechanical treatment of aluminum alloys, possibly for making plates of heat exchange apparatuses, single ware and other products. SUBSTANCE: method for making foil of aluminum-ferrum-silicium alloy with normalized content of ferrum and silicium according to relation Fe/Si=2.5-7.5 comprises steps of making cast strip by crystallization of melt of aluminum alloy between water-cooled rolls; heating it up to 525-580 C; seasoning for 8-15 hours; cooling and cold rolling to predetermined thickness; intermediate annealing at 520-550C for 3-6 hours after cold rolling with total elongation 7-16 and final annealing in neutral atmosphere at 200-400 C; seasoning at such temperature for 2-8 hours. EFFECT: enhanced strength, ductility of products, their improved formability, increased efficiency, less loss of yield.
