FIELD: construction of underground structures, particularly, tunnels. SUBSTANCE: offered method nay be used for construction of tunnels of low depth under complicated mining and geological conditions, with loose watered grounds in tunnel base, and also in construction of tunnels under main traffic arteries without interruption of traffic in them and in conditions of dense housing system. Method of tunnel construction includes formation of protective screen in ground, injection consolidation of ground in internal space of contemplated tunnel and from outside of it with formation of injection piles under tunnel base, subsequent working of solidified ground in internal space of contemplated tunnel and tunnel lining. Novelty consists in that in injection consolidation of ground, consolidated structure of ground is formed, at least, in internal space of contemplated tunnel with compression strength of ground in zone most distance from nearest injection channel or channels and amounting, at least, to 1.5 MPa. Technical result ensure by claimed invention consists in reduced labor input, power and material consumption, preliminary solidification of ground before its working due to optimization of parameters of ground solidification, particularly, its compression strength in zone most distant, at least, in internal space of tunnel from nearest injection channel that ensures exclusion in process of tunnel construction of cavity of loose grounds with low strength characteristics and found in unstable state, formation of deformation of day surface exceeding permissible values and also provides for possibility of optimization of power consumption in subsequent working of ground in conditions of tunnel construction under acting main traffic artery without interruption of traffic in it.
