FIELD: construction engineering, particularly, methods of tunnel construction. SUBSTANCE: claimed method is applicable in construction of low-depth tunnels under acting main traffic arteries without interruption of traffic in them, under complicated mining and geological conditions n presence of watered grounds in tunnel base. Method of tunnel construction includes formation of protective screen in ground, injection consolidation of ground in internal space of supposed tunnel and tunnel lining. Novelty consists in that consolidation and working of ground are carried out by tiers with formation of leading overlaying bench and, at least, one underlying bench located under overlying bench. In this case, ground of underlying bench is consolidated in two stages. At the first stage extreme in cross-section section s are consolidated, mainly before working of ground of overlying tier, including, in one cycle with its consolidation. At the second stage, ground of middle part of underlying tier is consolidated, mainly, after working of ground of overlying their located above it. Technical result ensured by claimed invention consists in reduction of construction terms, power consumption, labor input and material consumption with simultaneous provision of reliability and safety of work involved in tunnel construction under main traffic artery, without interruption of traffic in it, under complicated mining and geological conditions with presence of loose watered grounds in tunnel base, and exclusion of development of settling of base and day surface exceeding permissible values due to jointly use of ground consolidation before its working and screen from driven hollow members supported by frames, and also use of tier-by-tier working of ground with optimal succession of work performance and combination of operations in working of ground of tiers.
