FIELD: technology of water glass production in manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of suspension in solution of sodium hydroxide from silica- containing amorphous material-microsilica in form of waste of crystalline silicone production with particles sizing (0,05-10)•10-6 m with ratio of solid and liquid phases S:L=1:(1.9-5.65) with subsequent hydrothermal treatment of suspension at atmospheric pressure and temperature of 75-80 C for 10-66 min. EFFECT: produced qualitative homogeneous product possessing sufficiently high viscosity, good adhesive and binding properties from microsilica with fairly wide range of particle sizes. 1 tbl, 1 ex
