FIELD: production of melange polyester fibers. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming from polyethylene terephthalate, drawing and joining fiber components; forming fiber components from melt of granulate of micro finished polyethylene terephthalate uncolored and mass dyed in the form of preliminarily oriented multiple-filament fibers, from which, upon drawing, at least two multiple-filament fibers of different color are fed in two flows into processing chamber, where these fibers are subjected to joint piecing by pneumatic texturing through exposing fibers to directed flows of pressurized air at pressure of 8-12 atm. Preliminarily oriented fiber of one color, which is core fiber, is fed through processing chamber at speed less than feeding speed of preliminarily oriented fiber of other color, which is fiber of overlapping type, as compared to winding speed of ready fiber. Method is adapted for manufacture of fabrics used in automobile construction. EFFECT: increased service life of fabric produced from chemical fibers and reduced fiber manufacture time by eliminating dyeing and finishing operations.
