FIELD: manufacture of tubular members capable for transmitting torque. SUBSTANCE: hinge capable for transmitting torque is formed at using female die embracing it outside and designed for simultaneously electromagnetically shaping lengthwise and circumferential or radial grooves on tubular members. In order to form above mentioned grooves female die is used for embracing zone of joining parts to be mutually joined. Said die includes grooves or recesses formed by working its inner circumferential surface. In die due to electromagnetic effort created by means of inner winding arranged inside zone to be deformed, - material of mutually interposed portions of tubular members is expanded along width to outside. Expanded material yields into recesses or grooves on inner embracing surface of die arranged outside. In the result respective structure or lattice is formed onto tubular member. EFFECT: manufacture of hinge of parts closely joined one to another and providing counteraction against twisting or axial loads. 24 cl, 4 dwg
