FIELD: medicine, obstetrics. SUBSTANCE: method involves determination of homeostasis indices, in part, assay of serum blood protein pattern by electrophoresis , isolation of albumin and transferrin levels and calculation of diagnostic index S based on data obtained by the formula: S = 0.127G1 + 0.329G2 + 8.548 where G1 is albumin level, %; D2 is transferrin level, %. Hepatodepressive syndrome is diagnosed in pregnant woman at S value less 0 and reliable conclusion about the absence of pathology is made at S value above 0. Method provides the early diagnosis of hepatodepressive syndrome in gestation and ensures to decrease frequency of obstetric complications under condition of well-timed carrying out curative measures. EFFECT: improved method of diagnosis, decreased complications. 3 ex
