FIELD: fire protection engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves using jet propellant force generated by continuous action device utilizing ultrasonic shock wave, changing combustion fuel by water and using traditional fire protection appliances. The device has jet engine and instruments for controlling maneuverability and engine thrust. Jet engine casing is manufactured as nozzle which open end is directed downward, its upper part being connected with hose for supplying water inside the casing through metal tube electrically insulated from the casing. The engine has two coaxial electrode one of which is tube edge positioned inside of the casing, the other one being border disposed along the internal perimeter of the engine casing. The electrodes are connected to the main power supply source. Magnetic system is coaxially arranged relative to the electrodes on the external surface of the casing and is connected to power supply source of the magnetic system. Water is working medium. Voltage enough for creating electric discharge arch between the electrodes is supplied to the electrodes for initiating electric hydraulic discharge generating shock wave that is focused with reflector in the outlet opening and pushes water from the engine creating propulsion force. Interaction of magnetic field of the arch and the external magnetic field of windings invokes arch rotation in the interelectrode space. Arch rotation velocity being greater than sound propagation speed in water, direct contact of the arch with water is provided to produce continuous shock wave.
