METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURE OF ARCHED DOUBLE-CANTILEVER SLABS-SHELLS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: plant production of large-sized construction for covering of buildings and structures. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in molding of cantilever arts and transverse ribs by a plasticized lightweight concrete mix with a growing load and temperature in containers, to which ballast liquid or water at a temperature of 85 to 95 C is fed, after that the tension of stressed reinforcement is accomplished, and the slab span is molded in the upper parts of the cantilever ribs with a plasticized mix of high-strength concrete with employment of surface vibrators. The device for realizing the method in the span is made in the form of a shell with a flat bottom of a parabolic contour connected to arched moulds for ribs by brackets, and the containers are made in the form of molding vessels with a bottom of an elliptic contour with perforated flaps over the entire length of the cantilever ribs, whose end face walls are additionally provided with eyes for passage of the stressed reinforcement and fixing of the mould- shaping vessels.
