FIELD: mining and construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: thin wire placed in vessel is melted and evaporated by supply of definite quantity of electric power to it for short period. As a result, explosive substance placed in vessel expands. Force of expansion resulting from melting and evaporating of thin metal wire makes hammer move to deliver blow against object to break it. Metal wire is installed in electrodes so that it may be moved to gap between electrodes. Device has inlet and outlet channels for supply of explosive substance to vessel and its discharge from vessel.
