FIELD: mining and construction industry, break of rocks and building structures by means of electric discharge devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed system breaking by electric discharge has pair of electrodes with thin metal wire between them placed in hole formed in object subject to break and filled with breaking substance. According to one version of realization of system lower ends of electrodes are kept practically at same horizontal level, wire has W-shaped or wavy form. In agreement with another version wire has U-shaped form, in correspondence with third version electrodes are placed into container which side wall has assemblage of elongated slits to guide expansion force created by fusing and evaporation of breaking substance in required direction. Invention describes two approaches to manufacture of system. In accord with first approach self-hardening breaking substance is loaded into container after shutting of slits in container by sheet member, in agreement with second version container is dipped into breaking substance to fill it through slits.
