FIELD: rock crushing technology. SUBSTANCE: method relates to destruction by electric methods. Method for destruction of object having only one free surface implies following steps: formation of guide hole in first free surface so as to use internal surface of guide hole in function of second free surface, formation of crushing hole at single place in first free surface close to guide hole, installing electric-discharge hydraulic crushing device in crushing hole so as to destruct object by electric-discharge destruction for widening of crushing hole and thus enlarging second free surface which is continuous with guide hole in surrounding of guide hole. Formation of second crushing hole in parallel with guide hole in surrounding of guide hole. Destruction of object by means of electric discharge performed by electric-discharge hydraulic destruction device installed in crushing hole. Aforesaid steps are repeated so as to gradually widen guide hole. In second and third versions, holes are formed around guide hole, crushing devices are installed in holes. In other versions, crushing devices are installed in inclined crushing holes. Application of aforesaid method allows for increasing efficiency of crushing rock matter in mass by using electric crushing method. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 16 cl, 20 dwg
