OVERHEAT BELT CONVEYOR Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: materials handling facilities; conveyors for transportation of lump and loose materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed conveyor has endless belt closed on drums and provided with brackets secured on belt edges on which rolls are mounted for engagement with tubular guides. Each bracket is of two- link. Link connected to belt consists upper and lower plates in form of bell-cranks hinge-connected by means of pin installed in belt plane in eyes of upper and lower plates. Ends of plates pointed to belt are provided with conical projections displaced relative to each other for engagement with both sides of belt. Opposite end of upper plate is made for engagement with hook secured on frame for running rolls. Opposite end of lower plate is provided with threaded hole for bolt and nut to be fitted square to plane of belt sides and adjustable washer with cotter pin. Cotter pin can engage with nut from side of bolt head, end of bolt being arranged in through hole of upper plate. Bolt is furnished with stop, and conical projections of plates are made with taper angle exceeding double friction angle between projections and belt. EFFECT: improved reliability and repairability of conveyor, reduced service expenses. 5 dwg
