FIELD: mechanical engineering; compression ignition internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method fuel is delivered into nozzle by plunger pump through delivery valve. Physical and chemical properties of fuel are changed in process of injection by delivering compressed air at a pressure not exceeding 0.8 MPa into high-pressure line through check valve controlled by deflection waves created by delivery valve at cut-off. EFFECT: improved efficiency of working process in internal combustion engine by changing physical and chemical properties of fuel. 1 dwg
